DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun, hands-on STEM workshop where participants e
 xplore chemistry and light science through creative experiments! In this o
 ne-hour program, students will make their own colorful lava lamp while lea
 rning about density, chemical reactions, and how gases create movement in 
 liquids. Then, participants will design UV bead bracelets and discover how
  ultraviolet light causes special beads to change color.This interactive s
 ession encourages creativity while introducing real scientific concepts in
  an engaging way. Everyone will leave with their own lava lamp experiment 
 and a UV-detecting bracelet they can wear outside to see sunlight in actio
 n.
