Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a fun, hands-on STEM workshop where participants explore chemistry and light science through creative experiments! In this one-hour program, students will make their own colorful lava lamp while learning about density, chemical reactions, and how gases create movement in liquids. Then, participants will design UV bead bracelets and discover how ultraviolet light causes special beads to change color.

This interactive session encourages creativity while introducing real scientific concepts in an engaging way. Everyone will leave with their own lava lamp experiment and a UV-detecting bracelet they can wear outside to see sunlight in action.
