The public is welcome to attend the art reception for Luiza Michele Landrau's art show "A Walk on My Path"

Luiza Michele Landrau, a talented 21-year-old in the autism spectrum, is a unique individual who expresses herself through art. Her artwork serves as a means of communication that goes beyond traditional methods. Using various mediums like oil, watercolors, pencils, and digital imagery, she conveys her thoughts, emotions, and perspectives in a unique manner. Inspired by her surroundings and emotions, she enjoys connecting with others while also finding solace in observing nature and animals. Landrau's passion for antiquing, jewelry making, and other creative pursuits is evident in her attention to detail and her ability to capture the essence of her observations in her art.

The Art work displayed at the Marlborough Library art show features various works that include drawings, oil paintings, watercolors, ceramics, and paintings on antique items such as milk cans and saws that captured her interest and motivated her to craft one-of-a-kind works. The pieces displayed in this show were made over a span of 10 years, reflecting the different stages of her development as an artist.

All Art including additional oil paintings, drawings and other objects will be displayed and for sale during this reception. The proceeds from the sale of her artworks will be used to buy art supplies so that she can continue creating and sharing her work.  If you are interested in buying any of the drawings displayed in the Library prior to this date, please call Chris Landrau at 508-494-2854 or email chrislandrau@yahoo.com.
