Program Description

Event Details

Reading aloud can be a great way to cross the bridge to literacy, even for big kids! This is a storytime for 1st through 4th graders, where Mel will read chapter books like Dragon Masters, The Kingdom of Wrenly, and more! Then, Mel can help kids request the books (or more in the series) from the library so they can finish reading at home. This is a good way to encourage reluctant readers AND to introduce book lovers to new series. Plus we'll do a fun craft or activity related to the book!

Pre-registration is required for this event. Please check in at the children's desk when you arrive. If you find out you can't come, please cancel so other kids can have a spot. Thanks!
