Join us in the Community Room for a special Cymbal Sound Bath performance!
Matt Samolis and Randy Winchester are two experienced musicians who perform on a custom-made instrument called the Bow Chime. The instrument consists of a remarkably resonant and sympathetic assemblage of cymbals and tuned steel rods. The two musicians employ a playing style that effectively blends elements of the harmonic and drone traditions.
Expect a multitude of rich harmonic resonances, from delicate, brittle noises to deep, rich tones!
