Program Description

Event Details

The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien has influenced over 80 years of fantasy writing and media since its publication in 1937. To honor this historic work of literature, we will be creating our own DIY Hobbit Door Necklaces - open to Grades 6th - 12th.

Use polymer clay to shape either the famous front door of Bag End, belonging to Bilbo Baggins (and later Frodo Baggins) in the novel, or create a unique design to represent your own comfortable hole-home in the Shire.

Join us in-person at the library - we'll be gathered in the Teen Program Room on Wednesday, September 24th @ 5:30 - 6:30 PM.

Please register separately or indicate how many will be participating on the registration form.
