The scope of the ANNIHILATION WAR is as big as it gets -- the Negative Zone invading the positive matter universe and attempting to wipe it out entirely. The heroes involved in the Event may be great leaders who help form the UNITED FRONT against ANNIHILUS or they may just be fugitives trying to settle old grudges.
