Meet John Adams: A Lively and Revolutionary Conversation with America’s Second President

Please join the Marlborough Historical Society at the library for a humorous and inspiring performance by George Baker as President John Adams.  Dressed in character he will take you into the life and times of John Adams.  He will talk about life with his wife Abigail and his views of history and society.

George Baker has portrayed the character of President John Adams in a one-man show throughout the country at national conventions and venues like Mystic Seaport in Connecticut, the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library in Kansas, the George W. Bush Presidential Library, Texas and many more. A graduate of Columbia  College (’69) and Columbia Law School (’73), George practices law in Connecticut.

As the country approaches its 250th anniversary, this is a good way to begin learning more about the traditions of our founding fathers, their values and history.
