Join us for the first in our upcoming teen-led Teen Career Series. Brought to you by the Teen Advisory Board, each session will focus on a different career field. Panelists from the community will share their experiences leading up to their current career, followed by a Q&A.

Our April 4th panel will focus on the financial sector, with speakers Joey Lovett and Simon Ellis. April is Financial Literacy Month so join us for this great opportunity to learn more about what working in financial fields can look like!

Joey Lovett is a multi-unit franchisee with Liberty Tax service. With his wife and brother in law at his side they own and operate 16 storefront locations in Central Massachusetts. Prior to transitioning to the wild world of taxes Joey served in uniform as both a police sergeant and United States Navy sailor. Joey has 4 kids and loves the freedom of doing seasonal tax preparation to spend more time with them.

Simon Ellis is a Financial Advisor with Bright Future Financial, where he brings a wealth of experience to his clients. A veteran and devoted father to his two sons, Simon spends his spare time with his sons and family dog. A Marlborough resident, he also coaches youth soccer.
